I dont like fake food...

Il_430xn_10095508I dont like fake food, I think it is a crule joke that mean people play on children and hungry adults such as myself.  When I was younger and attended a sunday school for children, they would pull out a fake cake and let the birthday kid hold it while everybody sang to them....who would think that is a good idea?  Nobody involved that is who(except the person, who made cardboard look like a cake, and put rock hard icing all over it!)  I just saw some food make of felt on etsy and it stired up some bad memories....

Scandinavian Christmas!  Check out this site with some good examples.  I can also make a visit to the local friendly Ikea for good ideas too.  I would love to get some Christmas decorations done now so I can enjoy them in a couple of months.  I will keep you posted..... Ok, now roll your eyes and hit the back button.

To my beloved Geneva Glen.....

Dear Geneva Glen,

To my beloved, the place where I found me.  Geneva you have my soul, the way Harry Potter has a piece of Voldemort(but in a good way).  I will die before I forget what you have done for me, and probably not even after that.  I was 17, a sad, pasty white, searching for an adventure and you took me in, on a chance.  You hired me as a young Counselor in Training.  Your surrounding were new and different.  I wasn't sure about the people I was working with but you had faith in me. I learned to love everyone I can in contact with.   I blossomed.  I grew because you had faith in.  I accomplished thing that I never thought possible.  I screwed up but you forgave me and forgot.  I found things that I loved doing.  I climbed trees, rode horses, and played in the mud, I played with kids. I learned patience, sacrifice, and love.  I had my first kiss in Black Canyon with Jesse B.  I made the one of my best friends in the next few years...I was a leader and accomplished much, I gave my all,I gave you 5 years of my life,  but you gave me much more.  Geneva Glen I was bettered by you.
