gifts
I love my husband, dont get me wrong....and I know the true meaning of Christmas is giving and not receiving. But I think that every women has the right to gripe about how their husband gives gifts... here is mine.
Big J likes to give what I call hypothetical gifts. He comes up with these great ideas, and they are really great. He gives the idea as a gift and then goes on living his life, and usually forgetting about me gift. Examples:
1. Deep sea fishing
2. He said that he would let me get a cat, even though he hates cats...His gift to me was the submission of is cat will
3. Roller blades, it was hypothetical because when he gave me this"gift" I was 6 months pregnant.
There are a couple more, but as I think of them, I smile and I know he loves me, because they really are good ideas. Full of thought and love. It is my womanly right to grip about gifts, but in the end, I could care less. My family is healthy, happy and together. Merry Christmas everyone. I will see you in 2008. I will leave you with a wish list of un-hypothetical gifts.
